About This Track

What You Are Signing Up For

This is the longest and most complete track MotiGraph runs. It starts at absolute zero: what a server is, what the browser does, how the two talk. From there it builds, module by module, through the languages of the front end, the frameworks that structure them, the server and database behind them, and finally the parts most courses never reach — TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, real-time sockets, Docker, payments, AI integration and deployment on a VPS you configure yourself. Every module ends in something working. The last two are entirely project work: a graduation application you design, build, deploy and document, plus a set of workshop builds that turn the whole nine months into a portfolio you can hand to an employer.

  • Starts from zero — no programming background assumed, and nothing skipped to get there.
  • Goes past the usual finish line: TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, Socket.IO, Docker, Stripe and AI integration.
  • Thirty-one modules, each ending in working software rather than a quiz.
  • Two full modules of project work, so you graduate with a portfolio and not just a certificate.

What You Will Be Able to Do

  • Build responsive, accessible websites from a design file, without a framework doing the thinking for you.
  • Develop modern front-end applications in React, structured so they stay readable as they grow.
  • Create RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express, including authentication, uploads and sensible error handling.
  • Design and query MongoDB databases, and model data for how the application actually reads it.
  • Implement authentication and authorisation that survives a refresh and protects the right routes.
  • Connect front end and back end into one product, and deploy it to a server you configured.
  • Work with Git the way a team does: branches, reviews and resolving conflicts.
  • Write clean, typed, maintainable code that someone else can pick up.
  • Ship a portfolio of real projects and interview for junior and mid-level roles with something to show.

Requirements

  • No prior programming experience required.
  • A computer you can install software on.
  • Enough English to read documentation.
  • The time to build: this is nine months of practical work.

Who It Is For

  • Complete beginners who want one route that covers the whole job.
  • Graduates who studied theory and have never shipped anything.
  • Career changers aiming at a first developer role.
  • Freelancers who want to deliver a complete product alone.
  • Self-taught developers who want the gaps filled properly.

  • Responsive landing page built from a design file
  • Personal portfolio website
  • Interactive calculator
  • Advanced todo application with filtering and persistence
  • Weather app driven by an external API
  • Quiz application with a timer and score tracking

Graduation Project

You finish by designing, building and deploying a complete MERN application of your own: a responsive modern interface, authentication and authorisation, a REST API, a MongoDB database, user management, an admin dashboard, a production deployment and professional documentation. You present it at the end, and it becomes the centrepiece of your portfolio.
